I am a mother of four current and future Seattle Public Schools students. I have more than 15 years of private sector experience in finance and management and a record of over 25 years of community engagement. I am now fully committed to serving Seattle Public Schools’ students, teachers, and staff.
Leadership for our schools
I am a private sector professional with over 15 years of experience in finance, operations, and management. I studied Economics at Harvard University and have a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
For more than 25 years, I have deep civic and community engagement with volunteer work in youth programs, particularly ones in immigrant communities. I proudly identify as Asian American and disabled (hearing loss).
Of upmost importance to me, I am a mother of 4 children, current and future Seattle Public Schools students. I have served on the Building Leadership Team and as a PTSA president at John Stanford International School and am currently a member of the school district’s Superintendent’s Parent Advisory Council.
I am a board director for Washington State Leadership Board, a statewide non-profit organization established in state law by former Lt. Governor Cyrus Habib, with a mission to deliver equity-focused leadership programs, particularly for Washington’s youth.
